Measurement of Acceleration

Aim - To measure the acceleration of a trolley moving down a slope

           Instructions
 
  • Use the rule to measure the width (d) of each part of the mask
  • Enter the value for d in the box (d should be in metres)
  • Release the trolley from the top of the slope
  • Note the value of the acceleration
  • Repeat 5 times
  • Calculate the mean acceleration and the random uncertainty
